Samsung Galaxy S24 FE: Leaked dimensions confirmed and reveals new technical features

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is said to bring some notable improvements compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 FE. As was already revealed by a major leak, the budget flagship will probably use the Exynos 2400, which is also found in the Galaxy S24. As the first render images show, the Fan Edition will also have a more modern look with significantly narrower display wheels. The dimensions from the earlier leak have now been confirmed again. There are also new details about the technical equipment.

Leaker @theonecid announced on September 2nd on X that the Galaxy S24 FE will have dimensions of 162 mm x 77.3 x 8 mm. This would make the Fan Edition quite a bit larger than the standard version of the Samsung flagship. For comparison: The S24 (available on Amazon for 750 euros) measures 147 x 70.6 x 7.6 millimeters. But that’s no surprise. Because the S23 FE (available on Amazon for 475 euros) is also larger than the S23 (available on Amazon for 643 euros).

WiFi 6E and reverse wireless charging

@theonecid claims to have new information not only regarding the dimensions, but also regarding the technical features. According to the leaker, the Galaxy S24 FE will support Wi-Fi 6E – an extended version of the Wi-Fi 6 standard that uses the new 6 GHz band and promises high surfing speeds. The Fan Edition will also support 9W reverse wireless charging, which makes it possible to charge smartphones, headphones or smartwatches by simply placing them on the back of the smartphone. Both functions are already available on the S24.
