“Organized Crime” Season 5 sees Dean Norris promoted to lead role

In the fifth season of “Law & Order: Organized Crime,” Detective Elliott Stabler will spend more time with his brother Randall.

Most people probably remember Dean Norris as DEA agent Hank Schrader in “Breaking Bad”. He also played the same role in the spin-off “Better Call Saul”. He is also known to a wider audience through series such as “Under the Dome” and “Claws”. After already having a good role in season 4 of “Law & Order: Organized Crime”, he is now being given an even bigger role.

Dean Norris is promoted to main cast in season 5 of “Law & Order: Organized Crime”

Norris appeared in the final season of Organized Crime as real estate developer Randall Stabler. He is the older brother of Detective Elliot Stabler, played by Christopher Meloni. Norris appeared in nine of the 12 episodes of Season 4.

Randall has been shown to have a shaky relationship with Elliot. Randall, who has established himself as a successful real estate developer, returns to the family after a long absence, causing tension. This tension stems from an unresolved event from their past involving their father. In fact, they even clashed in a tumultuous family dinner. Despite their differences, the brothers manage to temporarily put their conflicts aside to help their younger brother Joe Jr., who is struggling with a heroin addiction.

Unlike the previous four seasons, season five of “Law & Order: Organized Crime” will not air on NBC, but on Peacock. A start date for the fifth season has not yet been announced, but Meloni recently assured fans that his SVU colleague Mariska Hargitay will appear as Olivia Benson in season 5. In July, the series was again broadcast in Germany on 13th Street on pay TV.
