Amazon launches “Evolution of the Black Quarterback” – Quotenmeter.de

Prime Video has announced September 24th as the premiere date and released the official trailer «Evolution of the Black Quarterback» The format from SMAC Productions is a three-part documentary series that follows former NFL Pro Bowl quarterback Michael Vick on his journey across America to explore the history and influence of black quarterbacks on and off the field.

The series pays homage to the rich history, celebrates progress and looks at the future of the QB position. The highlights are incredible and the story of the players who fought for their right to be on the field is inspiring. It features interviews with some of the most influential Black quarterbacks – past, present and future – to ever play the game, including Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, Cam Newton, Dak Prescott, Russell Wilson, Donovan McNabb, James “Shack” Harris, Warren Moon and Doug Williams, as well as commentary from celebrities and other football stars such as Common, Deion Sanders, Larry Wilmore, Steve Young, Josh Allen and Jamie Foxx.
