Butcher’s Creek: Demo announced for October [Trailer]

Publisher and developer David Szymanski announced a demo for the game Butcher’s Creek and released a new trailer for the game.

There is news about Butcher’s Creek. The creator has released a teaser trailer that shows new scenes from the first-person melee horror game. At the same time, a demo was announced, which is due to be released on October 11th.

Butcher’s Creek was inspired by Condemned: Criminal Origins, among others, and it shows. The dark setting and the first-person battles are very reminiscent of the 2005 classic. See for yourself.

About the game it says: “A troubled loner with a hunger for cinematic blood finds himself on the other side of the camera when rumors of authentic snuff tapes lead him to an abandoned cabin near Butcher’s Creek, Pennsylvania.” What begins as illegal urban exploration turns into a fight for survival when he is captured by a gang of sadistic killers. Now all he can do is pick up a box cutter, hammer, pickaxe or whatever is handy and unleash a little video violence of his own.
