Video shows crash of drone that a fisherman pulled out of Lake Attersee

ATTERSEE. A professional fisherman recently made an unusual discovery when he pulled a drone out of Lake Attersee (Tips reported). After drying the flying object, the memory card, which contained a video of the crash, was evaluated.

A routine working day turned into an unexpected discovery for professional fisherman Alexander Staufer (Tips reported).

While hauling his nets out of Lake Attersee, he came across an unusual find: a drone that had sunk into the lake some time ago. The aircraft was already covered by a thick layer of mussels that had stuck to it over time.

Memory card now evaluated

What’s particularly exciting is that the drone’s memory card was still intact and now provided an astonishing video. The footage shows the dramatic moment when the drone got out of control while filming a boat. In a spectacular rotating nosedive, the device crashed into Lake Attersee.

It is still unclear how long the drone lay in the depths of the lake. The owner of the aircraft remains unknown, but there is hope that the discovery will help locate him. Anyone who recognizes their lost drone is welcome to contact [email protected].
