Nothing to gain for the young Vorau team this weekend.

Leading goal in the opening phase – 1:0 at half-time

The game began with a lot of energy and determination from UFC St. Jakob/W. / Festenburg. In the 7th minute, Filip Dudajek provided the first highlight of the evening. With a precise shot, he gave the hosts an early lead. This early goal set the tone for the rest of the game, in which UFC St. Jakob/W. / Festenburg dominated and TuS Vorau II left little room for their own attacks.

The home team continued to press and created numerous chances. But despite a few opportunities, the score remained narrowly 1-0 at halftime. TuS Vorau II’s defense defended bravely and prevented any more goals in the first 45 minutes.

Decision in the second half – in the final quarter of an hour it became clear

After the break, UFC St. Jakob/W. / Festenburg continued the strong performance of the first half. The hosts left no doubt that they wanted to keep the three points. In the 76th minute, Niklas Ziegerhofer scored the 2-0 with a spectacular goal. This goal provided the necessary momentum and opened the flood of goals in the last quarter of an hour of the game.

Just four minutes later, in the 80th minute, it was Christof Wetzelberger who extended the lead. His precise shot left the TuS Vorau II goalkeeper no chance and made it 3-0 for the home team. The guests had little to offer at this point and tried to limit the damage.

Nikola Trstenjak finally put the finishing touches to the game in the 85th minute. His goal to make it 4-0 sealed the well-deserved victory for UFC St. Jakob/W. / Festenburg. The visitors’ defense was already completely overwhelmed at this point and could no longer counter the hosts’ attacking lines.

The game was then called off in the 93rd minute and UFC St. Jakob/W. / Festenburg was able to celebrate a confident 4-0 victory. This clear success strengthens the team’s position in the table and gives them confidence for the upcoming tasks in the season – they are now in 5th place with four points.

TuS Vorau II, on the other hand, must regroup after this clear defeat and concentrate on the next games in order to get back on the road to success. However, this evening clearly belonged to UFC St. Jakob/W. / Festenburg, which came up with an impressive team performance.
