Sahin angry after Bremen game: «Very cheap excuse»

Borussia Dortmund coach Nuri Sahin is very dissatisfied with his team’s performance after the 0-0 draw at Werder Bremen. The 35-year-old also did not want to accept the major changes at BVB with a new coach, new game system, five arrivals and ten departures as an explanation on Saturday.

“As Borussia Dortmund, we have to perform differently, even if the team has had changes and has a new coach,” said Sahin. “It would be a very cheap excuse to say that it was because of the transfer window.” We have worked very well on the market. Nevertheless, we expect to play better.”

A 0-0 draw in Bremen was “of course far too little” for BVB, said Sahin – especially in a phase of change: “For us, every game is development. Only in this process is it important to win games. That speeds up the process.”
