Oasis: Oasis ticket sales have started with high demand

There were problems and long queues at the start of ticket sales for the comeback tour of the Britpop band Oasis on Saturday morning. Several websites were temporarily unavailable or only partially accessible when sales started in the morning. In some cases, there were long queues of hundreds of thousands of fans. Oasis had warned unauthorized resellers of concert tickets at prices. Tickets can only be resold at face value through authorized websites. “Tickets appearing on other secondary ticketing sites are either fake or cancelled by the organizers,” the band said after sales began. They spoke of “unprecedented demand.”

Reunion after almost 15 years of separation

The band had announced their reunion a few days earlier after a separation of around 15 years.
