Wear OS: Google's new weather app is being rolled out to all users - new tile from the Pixel Watch 3 (gallery)

For the PixelWatch 3 Has Google recently introduced a new interface for the Weather app introduced, which is characterized by a significantly expanded scope of information. It is to be hoped that this exclusivity will not last long and in the month of the launch the time has come: Google has updated the Tile for all Wear OS smartwatches.

Google launched the Pixel Watch 3 in two different sizes for the first time and of course the larger display will be used to its full potential. Instead of using more white space (or black space) or larger elements, the weather app has been designed to give users significantly more information at a glance. As you can see in the photo above and the screenshot embedded below, it has been expanded to include a current forecast.

Wear OS Weather

Previously, only the current temperature, the weather conditions, the expected maximum and lowest temperature, and the location were shown. In the new version, this is supplemented by a South Korean forecast in increments of 3 or 4 hours. There is also the weather conditions and the expected temperature. The number of forecasts depends on the display size of the smartwatch used.

The new Tile is being rolled out via a server-side update these days and should already be available to most users.
