Crystal Palace presented another top signing on deadline day after Maxence Lacroix (28; Wolfsburg). Eddie Nketiah comes from Arsenal and has been given a five-year contract. The attacker, who is the sixth new signing, contributed six goals and three assists in 37 matches for the Gunners last season.

The basic transfer fee for Nketiah is reportedly 29.7 million euros, with bonuses adding up to 35.6 million euros. Then Nketiah would overtake Christian Benteke (33) and move from second place to the top of the list of Crystal Palace’s most expensive signings. At 47.7 million euros, 60 percent of the Eagles’ total transfer spending this summer was spent on deadline day.

Meanwhile, striker Odsonne Edouard (26) is leaving Crystal Palace for the time being. The 26-year-old is joining newly promoted Leicester City on loan. Last season, Edouard scored eight goals in 33 appearances.
