UFC Fehring celebrates clear victory at FC Schladming – Football Styria – Results, tables and scorers from all STMK leagues.

On Friday evening, UFC Fehring played away against FC Schladming in the fifth round of the regional league. The guests won clearly with a score of 4:1. In a one-sided match, Fehring made things clear in the first half and gave the hosts no chance. An own goal by Sebastian Auer sealed the fate of Schladming, who could only score a consolation goal.

Fehring lays the foundation early

Already in the second minute, UFC Fehring had its first chance in the form of a corner kick, but it didn’t result in anything. Fehring continued to push the pace, which was shown by a dangerous free kick in the 11th minute and a double chance in the 15th minute.

The first goal of the evening didn’t take long to arrive. In the 19th minute, Daniel Pöltl took advantage of a cross from Denis Topolovec and safely converted to make it 1-0 for Fehring. Just three minutes later, in the 22nd minute, Pöltl increased the lead to 2-0. In the 28th minute, Fehring had another great chance before Felix Glanz scored to make it 3-0 for the visitors in the 45th minute. The team went into halftime with this clear deficit.

Schladming does not come into play

At the beginning of the second half, FC Schladming tried to fight back. They won the first corner of the second half (48th minute), but Fehring continued to press. The decisive moment came in the 55th minute when an unfortunate own goal by Sebastian Auer increased the score to 4-0 for Fehring.

In the 80th minute, Marcel Lep finally scored a consolation goal for FC Schladming. A beautiful low shot into the far corner made it 1:4. Schladming tried hard, but the points distribution was unchangeable that evening.

We scored the goals at the right time – the 3-0 shortly before the half-time whistle – that put a damper on Schladming. In the second half, despite our lead, it was the difficult game we expected, which we then brought home with composure.
