In an exciting and goal-rich match, UFC Miesenbach beat UFC Wenigzell-Waldbach II 4:2. The clash in the 1st Class South/East Round 3 offered spectators numerous goals and good entertainment. Particularly noteworthy are the performances of Markus Friess and Mario Mauerbauer, who contributed significantly to the home team’s success.

Lightning start from UFC Miesenbach – not even 100 seconds played and the first goal

UFC Miesenbach took the lead in the 2nd minute. Markus Friess took advantage of an early opportunity and scored the 1-0. The hosts immediately followed up and pushed for another goal. But just four minutes later, in the 6th minute, the guests struck back. Dominik Lueger equalized for UFC Wenigzell-Waldbach II and brought the game back to a tie.

The opening phase of the game was characterized by high tempo and offensive football. In the 10th minute, Markus Friess struck again and his second goal gave UFC Miesenbach the lead again. After a great pass from Stefan Brandtner, Friess scored to make it 2-1.

UFC Miesenbach continued to push and looked for a decisive goal. In the 41st minute, their efforts were rewarded. Stefan Brandtner scored the 3:1 after a strong move and gave his team a comfortable lead at halftime.

Exciting final phase

After the break, UFC Wenigzell-Waldbach II showed morale and tried to fight their way back into the game. In the 71st minute, Lovre Petrovic scored to make it 3:2. This brought the excitement back into the party and gave the guests new hope.

But UFC Miesenbach was unimpressed and continued to play forward. In the 81st minute, Mario Mauerbauer made it 4-2 with his goal. The home team’s comebacker prevailed decisively and sealed the final score.

In the remaining minutes, the guests from Wenigzell-Waldbach tried everything to turn the tide, but the UFC Miesenbach defense stood firm and didn’t let anything go wrong. The hosts held on to the result confidently until the end.

The game ended with a well-deserved 4:2 victory for UFC Miesenbach. Both teams played a combative and entertaining game. UFC Miesenbach was able to collect important points in the battle for the top spots in the table, while UFC Wenigzell-Waldbach II had to admit defeat despite a good performance.
