New apps, games and videos for Apple Vision Pro › Macerkopf

Apple has introduced a range of new spatial and immersive experiences for its Vision Pro headset. These include games, apps and video content that take advantage of the device’s unique capabilities. These include games such as “Puzzle Sculpt” and “Sandblox: The Marble Game”. “Immersion Golf” lets you analyze numerous golf courses in your own home and “Beat Slash – Mixed” brings a rhythm game inspired by “Beat Sabre” to the Vision Pro. Vision Pro users can also look forward to new Apple Immersive videos, including “4 Minutes Inside Super Bowl LVIII”, “Boundless” and a new episode of “Wild Life”.

New games and apps for Apple Vision Pro

“Castle Crumble” leads the series of new spatial games for Apple Vision Pro. In the physics-based puzzle game, you can interact directly with the 3D environment using hand gestures. The aim is to use explosives, mystical spells and more to find the weak points of castles in order to destroy them. “Castle Crumble” is now available in the App Store.

Next up is “Puzzle Sculpt,” which is due to be released on September 5th. The game comes from the developer Schell Games, who is already responsible for several innovative AR games. “Puzzle Sculpt” offers a relaxing 3D puzzle experience in a spatial environment. In the game, you have to solve a variety of puzzles that were specially developed for the capabilities of the Vision Pro headset.

Sandblox: The Marble Game inspires creativity. With intuitive hand controls, you can create physics-based puzzles and marble runs in the AR environment. The game supports both solo and collaborative play, so you can build complex structures and share your creations online.

Pinball Nation transforms living spaces into virtual 1980s pinball arcades. The app features life-sized virtual pinball tables and aims to create realistic pinball gameplay.

“Beat Slash – Mixed” is a rhythm game in which you have to hit flying symbols in time with the music using virtual swords. The developer was obviously inspired by the successful VR rhythm game “Beat Saber” and briefly transported the game principle into your own four walls.

Tag Heuer’s Immersion Golf is aimed at golf fans. The app offers detailed 3D maps of almost 40,000 golf courses worldwide. You can see the layout of the courses and the hazards, making the app a useful tool for planning game strategies.

New immersive video experiences

Apple continues to work on making new video content available for the Vision Pro. From September 6, Vision Pro users will have access to new films and series.

“Elevated,” a series about aerial travel, will premiere exclusively for users in the U.S. The series is designed to transport viewers to iconic locations around the world and offer views from high above.

“4 Minutes Inside Super Bowl LVIII” provides a comprehensive look into the atmosphere of the recent Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. The short film will be available to a worldwide audience.

Vision Pro users worldwide will receive the first episode of “Boundless” entitled “Hot Air Balloons”. In the video, viewers can experience the unique landscape of Cappadocia in Turkey from the perspective of a hot air balloon passenger. The region’s impressive rock formations are presented from impressive angles.

The nature documentary series “Wild Life” brings Vision Pro users closer to wild animals. The second episode shows a breeding center for orphaned elephants. Here you can observe the daily routines of the young elephants, including their mud baths and interactions with the keepers.

Updates for Vision Pro Apps

Two popular Vision Pro apps are also getting updates. The PGA TOUR App now supports SharePlay and Synth Riders (available on Apple Arcade) has been enhanced with an Adrenaline Pack that adds punk and ska music to the playlist.
