The video games Control and Alan Wake are adapted by Annapurna and Remedy

Annapurna has partnered with game developer Remedy Entertainment to develop the control And Alan-Wake Video game franchises into films, television series and other projects.

Annapurna will also work with Remedy as a co-production and co-financing partner to adapt the upcoming game Control 2Remedy and Epic Games Publishing recently also Alan-Wake 2.

Annapurna founder Ellison said in her own statement that Hollywood storytelling is expanding to new platforms. “Today, people fall in love with characters and universes, not formats, and we’re excited to leverage Remedy’s popular, immersive narratives in these new mediums,” she argued.

Founded in 2011, Annapurna creates content for film, television, games and other media. Remedy, founded and headquartered in Finland, has franchises including Control, Alan Wake And Max Payne.
