NASCAR Schedule 2025 | FOX Sports

NASCAR Schedule 2025 | FOX Sports

The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series schedule includes significant changes to the order of races throughout the year.

The biggest changes occur at the beginning and end of the season.

The only changes to the venue were previously announced: The preseason clash will move from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and NASCAR will race at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City in June. Richmond Raceway will host just one Cup weekend instead of two.

Changes at the start of the season include a stronger west coast focus: The Circuit of the Americas (Austin) is the third race of the year, followed by Phoenix and Las Vegas.

NASCAR has also moved Homestead out of the playoffs for its sixth race of the year. Darlington’s “Throwback Weekend” will be moved from Mother’s Day weekend to April, and Kansas Speedway will take over the Mother’s Day spot.

These early races are all part of the FOX/FS1 portion of the schedule, which consists of the first 12 points races and the Clash, culminating with the All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway.

The next five races will be broadcast on Prime Video (Amazon), with the final three determining the ranking for an in-season tournament with a prize pool of $1 million, which will be held parallel to the next five points races on TNT.

NBC and USA will host the final 14 races, and many of them are mixed up as NASCAR continues to experiment with the playoff tracks.

The first round will now feature Darlington (back in the playoffs after being the regular season finale this year due to the traditional Labor Day date), Gateway and Bristol. Gateway is new to the playoffs.

Atlanta, which opens the playoffs this year, has been moved to June to open the tournament during the season, while Watkins Glen is being moved back to August as a concession to campers in the area who prefer a summer date to a date during school hours.

The quarterfinals will be held in New Hampshire, Kansas and on the Charlotte Road Course. New Hampshire replaces Talladega in this round as Talladega moves to …

… The semifinals will feature Las Vegas, Talladega and Martinsville. Talladega replaces Homestead, which competes earlier in the year but is also preparing for the 2026 championship.

The 2025 championship remains with Phoenix.

NASCAR released its national series schedules on Thursday, which did not list specific networks or start times. The Xfinity Series races will all be broadcast on CW, while FS1 has the entire Truck schedule (with the possibility of a race on FOX).
