Choosing one of these teams can give you an edge over your opponents, especially in classic Kick-Off mode. These teams also have different playstyles that should feel more effective than ever thanks to FC IQ.

With that in mind, here are the best teams in EA FC 25 according to leaked ratings from “DonkTrading,” “FUT Scoreboard,” and “FUTSheriff” on X.

The best FC 25 teams have been leaked

Manchester City

As expected, Manchester City are the best team in EA FC 25. The Cityzens won their fourth consecutive Premier League title last season and added the FIFA Club World Cup to their trophy collection. In recognition of their performance, some significant upgrades have been made across the squad, including a +3 boost for Phil Foden (88 OVR).

Their team sheet features two of the game’s four highest-rated players, Rodri (91 OVR) and Erling Haaland (91 OVR), alongside Kevin De Bruyne on 90 and Bernardo Silva on 88. It goes without saying that City will be one of the most picked teams in the Kick-Off game mode.

Barcelona Women

Barcelona Femeni were already a formidable team and have only gotten better in EA FC 25. Thanks to a treble-winning season, EA has upgraded key players like Aitana Bonmati (91 OVR) and Caroline Graham Hansen (90 OVR). Other notable members include Alexia Putellas (90 OVR), Mapi Leon (89 OVR) and Patri Guijarro (88 OVR).

On the pitch, you’ll see a masterful interpretation of tiki-taka football, with clever runs and passing triangles that can leave the opposition defense defenseless. The team also has a well-stocked bench that you can call on at any time.

real Madrid

The kings of Europe won another UCL title last year, alongside two domestic titles, to complete a historic treble. They have also strengthened their attack by signing French sensation Kylian Mbappe, ushering in a new era for the Galacticos. Rating-wise, Mbappe remains at 91, while cover star Jude Bellingham joins the 90 rating club.

In a Ballon d’Or-worthy season, Vinicius Jr. climbs to 90. Madrid fans will also be happy about Antonio Rüdiger’s well-deserved increase to 88. Players like Thibaut Courtois (89 OVR), Federico Valverde (88 OVR), Luka Modric (86 OVR) and Rodrygo (86 OVR) complete the team.

Liverpool

A disappointing 23/24 season for the Reds means there are no notable improvements other than Alexis Mac Allister (86 OVR). However, the team remains just as strong, with core players such as Mo Salah (89 OVR), Virgil van Dijk (89 OVR) and Alisson (89 OVR) maintaining their ratings from last year.

On the pitch, Liverpool should operate a little differently due to the change in leadership, so don’t expect any intense counter-pressing from the AI. Slotball is very challenging both with and without possession, so the team should still be fun to use.

Arsenal came agonizingly close to winning the Premier League again last season and have received several upgrades in FC 25 as a result. Highlights include a +2 for Martin Odegaard (89 OVR), +1 for Bukayo Saka (87 OVR), +2 for Declan Rice (87 OVR) and +4 for William Saliba (87 OVR).

Despite all their exciting attacking options, it’s the Gunners’ backline that makes them a force to be reckoned with. Saliba and Gabriel (86 OVR) form the most consistent centre-back duo in the league, and have the athleticism of Ben White (84 OVR) to cover the wings. In terms of defensive strength, Arsenal are one of the best teams in EA FC 25.

Inter

Italian heavyweight club Inter easily overtook their rivals last year to win the Scudetto and the Supercoppa Italiana. They have assembled one of the best teams in Europe, led by Copa American winner Lautaro Martinez (89 OVR). In midfield, Nico Barella (87 OVR) and Hakan Çalhanoğlu (86 OVR) provide balance and attacking strength.

As for the defense, Alessandro Bastoni (87 OVR), Francesco Acerbi (84 OVR) and Benjamin Pavard (84 OVR) form the best defensive trio in Serie A.

Lyon Feminin

Despite failing to win the UWCL title, Lyon managed to win their 17th Première Ligue title last year, so it’s no surprise that they’re one of the best teams in EA FC 25. They’re packed with world-class players from front to back, starting with Ada Hegerberg (89 OVR) up front. Other standout names include the speedy Kadidiatou Diani (88 OVR) and Christiane Endler (88 OVR) between the sticks.

The experienced Wendie Renard (88 OVR) forms the basis of the defense, while the talented Selma Bacha (86 OVR) covers the left flank.

Bayern Munich

Despite strong signings last summer, Bayern failed to win the Bundesliga for the first time in over a decade. In fact, Bayern failed to win a single trophy, ending an era of domestic dominance. Yet their team boasts some of the best players in Europe, including Harry Kane (90 OVR), Jamal Musiala (87 OVR), Joshua Kimmich (86 OVR) and Manuel Neuer (86 OVR).

While there are plenty of exciting options in attack, the club lacks defensive stability, which could cause players to rethink their selection.

Barcelona

In terms of ratings, the Barcelona team in EA FC 25 is largely unchanged, aside from a -2 for Robert Lewandowski (90 OVR). Although on paper this Blaugrana side can’t keep up with their arch-rivals Real Madrid, they don’t lack world-class players. For complicated moves in midfield, you have Frenkie de Jong (87 OVR) and Pedri (86 OVR), while Ronald Araujo (85 OVR) and Jules Kounde (85 OVR) provide stability at the back.

A freshly upgraded Lamine Yamal (81 OVR) is reason enough to test the team yourself after the game is released.

Chelsea Women

The Emma Hayes era ended in style as Chelsea won their fifth consecutive WSL title in the 23/24 season. In Europe, they once again fell short of Barcelona, which is likely why there aren’t multiple rating upgrades. The Blues are still one of the best teams in EA FC 25, however, thanks to highly rated players like Sam Kerr (90 OVR) and Guro Reiten (88 OVR).

It’s nice to see Lauren James get a well-deserved +3 upgrade and the defense is as solid as ever with Millie Bright (85 OVR) and Ashley Lawrence (85 OVR).
