Dickinson Fair Opening Day | News, Sports, Jobs

QUINNESEC siblings Malachi and Lydia Olson, ages 9 and 11, respectively, prepare their small animal entries for check-in Wednesday at the Dickinson County Fair. Malachi holds one of his market chickens for weighing. This is his first time as an exhibitor and he will be participating in a poultry and market show. Lydia holds her silver fox rabbit, Lady Bug. The second-time competitor has signed up for the poultry and rabbit show. Last year she only brought poultry, but she enjoyed it so much that she decided to bring rabbits this year. The fair has more than 100 small animal entries. (Photo by Terri Castelaz/Daily News)
