Body found on Kelly Road identified as suspect in previous murder investigation

The body of a man found on Kelly Road earlier this month has been identified as a suspect in the murder investigation into another body that was also found.

On August 2, the body of 54-year-old Jace Alexander was found partially buried on Vaughn Road.

During the investigation by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), 33-year-old Michael Nettles was identified as a suspect and charged with felony murder.

They then issued two more warrants for additional suspects, one for Dustin Stuart, 38, and Chad Williams, 48, both wanted on capital charges. Stuart was arrested shortly after the warrants were issued.

On August 17, another body was found on Kelly Road, less than a mile from Alexander’s body, but this one belonged to the missing Williams.

Williams was described by police as homeless and was believed to be wandering around North Little Rock without a vehicle. According to PCSO, Williams’ death is also being investigated as a homicide.

Stuart and Nettles are both being held without bail at the Pulaski County Detention Center.
