It’s time! WATCH | The season: Ole Miss football 2024 begins

OXFORD, miss.— It’s finally here! No, not kickoff – although that’s close. But the first episode of The Season: Ole Miss Football is here!

It’s not just the fans who are looking forward to the duel against Furman on Saturday in Vaught.

“I’m excited for the opening game,” head coach Lane Kiffin said Wednesday at the SEC Coaches Teleconference. “We’ve had a really good training camp. I think our guys are excited to play against someone else. It’s been really competitive, especially with the improvements on the offensive and defensive line.”

This first episode of “The Season: Ole Miss Football 2024” recaps how we got to where we are now with the roster and what happened in fall camp.

“This is an exciting team that has put in a lot of work, so I hope our fans, students and non-students, come out and pack the Vaught and give us a home court advantage. We have been very successful. I think we have had two home losses in three years, both games by one play. Our fans have been a big part of that success.“

Kickoff for the Rebels’ opening game against the Furman Paladins is scheduled for this Saturday, August 31st at 6:00 p.m. at Vaught-Hemingway.
