Dana White hints that the announcement of Conor McGregor’s UFC comeback is imminent: “News coming soon!”

UFC CEO Dana White caused a stir during a recent Instagram Live session when a viewer asked about Conor McGregor’s return to the Octagon.

McGregor was scheduled to face Michael Chandler in his return to the cage at UFC 303 earlier this summer. However, just weeks before the event, McGregor withdrew due to a toe injury, delaying his comeback indefinitely.

Since withdrawing from UFC 303, McGregor has publicly called for a fight at UFC 310 on December 7. The fight against Chandler seems to be the most likely option for McGregor’s return opponent, despite some ominous social media posts from both sides.

White recently stated that he will not consider McGregor’s comeback until he is medically cleared to fight. The two longtime business partners spoke briefly while attending a motorcycle event in Sturgis, South Dakota.
