Mercedes Mone successfully defended her AEW TBS title against Britt Baker at AEW All In.

The fight was the third best and received mixed feedback from fans online. Mercedes addressed the fight in her latest Mone Mag.

Audience fatigue?
I heard a lot of mixed reactions to my All In match with Britt. I had a really good time out there with her. I sensed some crowd fatigue. It’s only natural to be third to last since the crowd had already seen over 10 matches before ours. They arrived at 5:30 and by the time we came out it was about 9:00. That’s a long time but amazing at the same time because AEW really gave them something. I could hear some chants from DMD and CEO but it’s harder to do that in a stadium. Britt told me later that on video you can hear the crowd reaction much better and that there was more crowd reaction than we felt.

Is there anything I would have done differently? There is. Honestly, a lot. But I never want to get too into the “what ifs” of my games or my life. All I’m saying is that I learned a lot from the game and can only grow by continuing to try new things. Maybe I should have listened to my instincts more. I feel like I did things that maybe weren’t essential for this game: things I could have saved for another time. But there’s also little point in looking back too far, other than what we can learn and use for the future. One thing is for sure: I can’t wait to do it all again next year in Texas.
