Man arrested on drug charges during Fargo murder investigation

FARGO, ND (Valley News Live) – Recently filed court documents state a man was arrested on drug charges during the investigation of a South Fargo homicide.

Geettoe Kamara was charged Monday in Cass County with possession of fentanyl with intent to resell.

On Friday, August 23, 2024, officers investigated in the area of ​​712 23rd St. S.

They were looking for people involved in the murder of Sampson Bleh, which occurred earlier in the day at the Maplewood Bend Apartments.

According to the documents, Kamara was identified on video as she left the scene of a murder.

Later that same day, around 7:30 p.m., he was again spotted by officers and arrested without incident.

According to court documents, officers searched him and found a large bag of suspected M30 fentanyl tablets in his jacket.

Kamara was taken to the police station for further questioning.

According to court documents, the bag contained about 347 pills. Officers also seized about $246 in cash.

He is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on October 9, 2024.
