Investigations into underage drinking lead to charges against eight people

Indiana Borough Police have charged eight people with alcohol-related offenses following an investigation that began last Thursday.

Officers said they began the investigation after speaking with staff at a store in the 400 block of Water Street about their suspicions that fake IDs were being used to purchase alcohol. The following people were subsequently charged:

• 20-year-old Andrew Bower from Newton
• 18-year-old John Vescio from Aliquippa
• 19-year-old Logan Mamie from Irwin
• 19-year-old John Bellissimo from Rostraver
• Domenic DePaulo, 19, from Murrysville
• 19-year-old Dylan Timko from Rostraver
• 18-year-old Jackson Coneybeer from Rostraver
• And 20-year-old Isabella Diaimondo from Collegeville

All were charged by District Judge Tony Sottile’s office with consuming alcoholic beverages while underage and presenting false identification.
