Caleb Williams 2024 Fantasy Football Projection

The model has set its 2024 fantasy football projection for Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams. The No. 1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft has flashed the explosiveness and playmaking ability that made him one of the most hyped quarterback prospects to enter the NFL in the last decade during limited preseason playing time. Williams will not play in the Bears’ final preseason game, but he showed enough promise in his two appearances to be considered the betting favorite for this year’s NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award.

Williams will have to get used to the cold weather that comes with a career in Chicago. He spent most of his college career in warm climates and now has to deal with wind and sub-freezing temperatures on a regular basis. 2024 Jayden Daniels fantasy football projection

The model also released its projection for Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. The 2023 Heisman Trophy winner was the No. 2 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft out of LSU. Daniels completed 72.2% of his passes for 3,812 yards and 40 touchdowns with four interceptions, while also running for 1,134 yards and 10 more scores on the ground.

While new Commanders head coach Dan Quinn didn’t guarantee Daniels the starting job, he was officially named the starter last week after convincingly winning a battle for the quarterback position with veteran Marcus Mariota. He’s shown a lively arm and impressive athleticism throughout the preseason, but he’ll have to carry a heavy load in an offense that ranks 25th in the NFL in scoring and 24th in total yards. 2024 Bo Nix fantasy football projection

The model also revealed fantasy projections for Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix. Considered an unlikely first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Nix was a surprise No. 12 pick by the quarterback-needy Broncos. Nix had an up-and-down three-year run at Auburn from 2019-21 but found his rhythm after transferring to Oregon in 2022. He completed 74.9% of his passes for 8,101 yards, 74 touchdowns and just 10 interceptions for the Ducks.

Nix was clearly the Broncos’ best quarterback in the preseason, outperforming veterans Jarret Stidham and Zach Wilson. Head coach Sean Payton named Nix the starter on Aug. 22, making him the first Broncos rookie to start the opening game at quarterback since John Elway in 1983. With a questionable supporting cast, Nix will have to prove his fantasy relevance as he’s being taken off the board at pick No. 169, according to the latest 2024 Fantasy Football ADP. 2024 Drake Maye fantasy football projection

The model has also released fantasy projections for New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye. New England missed out on the top two quarterbacks in the draft, but Maye was still an elite option with the third pick. He finished his college career at North Carolina with 62 passing touchdowns and 16 interceptions and earned a top-5 passing grade from Pro Football Focus in his first year as a starter (2022).

Maye averaged nearly 56 rushing yards per game in his two seasons as a starter, giving him high fantasy potential at an age where versatility is key. However, he isn’t locked into the starting spot in New England, as experienced Jacoby Brissett is also on the roster.
