Watch Hudson Yards Casino Video

A few months ago, we first saw renderings for Wynn Resorts and Related Companies’ next phase of development plans at Hudson Yards, which include a proposed resort and casino. Now, we’re seeing the plan come to fruition.

And the video is pretty impressive, especially from the High Line.

The video shared by Wynn Resorts and Related Companies (above) shows what the complex would look like from this perspective.

Plans for the project, known as Hudson Yards West, call for a gaming resort and hotel called Wynn New York City. The hotel would feature restaurants, bars, spas and lounges, according to an announcement in March.

The new development would also include a residential building and office space as well as a 5.6-acre park with access to the Javits Center and other nearby parks.

Wynn and Related said they would submit an application to the New York State Gaming Facility Location Board for one of the coveted proposed gaming licenses in the region.

The state gaming commission only plans to issue three casino licenses in southern New York State, for example in New York City, on Long Island or in Westchester County. When this will happen is still unclear.

Among the license applicants is Mets owner and billionaire Steve Cohen, who has proposed a Hard Rock Hotel gambling resort in Queens near Citi Field.

Coney Island also submitted a bid for a gaming license and proposals for a Las Vegas Sands resort on the site of the Nassau Coliseum.

The proposed Hudson Yards West site would be built above the Hudson Yards rail depot between West 30th and West 33rd Streets and 11th and 12th Avenues.
