Netflix just got the best true crime series of the year – and it’s 100% on Rotten Tomatoes

I don’t watch a lot of true crime shows, but when a new series based on a shocking true story appears on one of the top streaming services and then shoots straight to the top of the charts with a rare high score on Rotten Tomatoes, I take notice.

That’s exactly what happened with “American Murder: Laci Peterson.” This three-part docuseries dropped on Netflix earlier this month (August 14) and currently holds the number one spot on the service’s top 10 list of most-watched TV shows. That’s quite an accomplishment considering the true-crime documentary ranks ahead of hugely popular Netflix series like “Emily in Paris” and “The Umbrella Academy.”
