Girls tennis recap: Alexandria loses close match in Brainerd – Alexandria Echo Press

The Alexandria girls tennis team lost a close match in Brainerd on Tuesday with a score of 4:3.

The loss dropped the Cardinals’ season record to 4-4.

Alexandria returns to the field on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. for a home matchup against Sauk Rapids-Rice.

Osakis takes the win in three sets

Osakis’ girls tennis team made it two consecutive home triangle victories on Tuesday with wins over Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa and St. John’s Prep.

With the sweeps, the Silverstreaks improved their season record to 8-1.

Osakis will return to the court on September 3rd at 4 p.m. for an away game against Pierz.

The Parkers Prairie girls tennis team suffered a 6-1 home loss to Crosby-Ironton on Tuesday.
