The Pakistan Champions Cup 2024 is designed to bring together the country’s best cricketing talents in an exciting domestic competition. The tournament will feature 150 of Pakistan’s best cricketers.

This one-day tournament will take place from September 12 to 29 at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad. The competition will kick off with an opening match between the Wolves and the Panthers.

How many teams are participating in the Champions Cup 2024?

This year’s Champions One-Day Cup will feature five teams, each comprised of the best talent from across Pakistan, coached by mentors selected by the PCB.

The official player lists of each team will be announced in the next few days. Here are the five participating teams:

  • Wolves
  • Panther
  • Stallions
  • Lions
  • Dolphins

What is the format of the Champions Cup 2024?

The Champions Cup is played in a single league format, with each team playing all the others once. The top four teams qualify for the playoffs.

The first and second placed teams of the league phase play in Qualifying Match 1. – the winner qualifies for the final.

The third and fourth placed teams play in the Eliminator. The loser of Qualifier 1 and the winner of the Eliminator will compete in the Qualification 2.

When do the games start?

All games in the tournament will begin at 3 p.m. local time, but there will be an exception on September 16, when the Lions and Panthers will face off in a morning game that begins at 9:30 a.m.

Which venues will host?

The entire tournament will be played at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad. This stadium will serve as the venue for all 14 matches, including the playoffs and the final.
