Viral videos refute false claims that these films contain “no CGI”

We have previously reported on the growing trend of directors and producers claiming that their films do not feature CGI – almost as if one of the most important disciplines of filmmaking, namely visual effects, has become a dirty word. We have also pointed out that these claims are often not entirely true, or at least not as categorical as they are portrayed in the media.

Now a visual effects artist has debunked the “no CGI” myth and gone viral. His videos show how much CGI was actually used in films that supposedly didn’t have any, from Top Gun: Maverick to Napoleon.
