CAR FIRE, BUILDING DEMOLITION, ACCIDENT AMONG THE SERVICE CALLS ON TUESDAY, THIS MORNING

Indiana County first responders were busy Tuesday and early this morning.

The first call came yesterday morning at 10:42 a.m. when Black Lick and Blairsville firefighters were called to a vehicle fire on Route 22 West in Burrell Township. At 2:09 p.m., Cherry Tree firefighters were called to provide traffic control on Cherry Tree Road in Montgomery Township.

At 6:05 p.m., a structure fire was reported on White Farm Road in White Township. Indiana, Homer City, Creekside and Coral-Graceton fire departments were alerted at that time. No further details about the fire were released.

The Tunnelton and Saltsburg fire departments, along with LifeStat ambulance, were dispatched to a car crash on Tunnelton Road at 7:09 p.m. Units from the Black Lick and Iselin fire departments were called at 7:17 a.m. to provide UTVs.

And at 3:37am this morning, Cherryhill Community Emergency Services were dispatched to Manor Road to assist paramedics on scene.
