Is this status match from Vietnam Airlines worth it?

Obviously, this promotion could be useful if you are someone who is planning a lot of travel with Vietnam Airlines soon. If you are curious about Lotusmiles’ elite perks, you can find them on this page. The elite perks are nothing to get too excited about.

This is primarily a way to receive priority services such as business class check-in, lounge access and boarding, and additional baggage allowance. Vietnam Airlines does not offer elite upgrade perks or other benefits that are overly exciting or generous.

Perhaps the biggest benefit is that Lotusmiles Platinum status earns you SkyTeam Elite Plus status, which gives you priority check-in, priority security, priority boarding, extra baggage, lounge access and more when flying on all SkyTeam airlines.
