Emergency crews battle fire at Autumn Lakes Apartments

MISHAWAKA, Ind. (WNDU) – Firefighters battled flames at an apartment complex in south Mishawaka overnight.

Emergency crews were called to the Autumn Lakes Apartments, 1109 Hidden Lakes Drive, around 10:40 p.m. Tuesday.

We were told that all residents got out safely. We are trying to find out if there are any injuries.

Authorities are currently trying to determine the cause of the fire. It is currently unclear whether the fire is related to the strong storms that swept through the area, but some are speculating that it may be.

The Mishawaka Fire Department will be on site throughout the night. The American Red Cross and the Humane Society are on site assisting affected residents and pets.
