Jacob and Co. honors FC Barcelona with a personalized watch

To celebrate FC Barcelona’s 125th anniversary, jewelry and watch company Jacob & Co. has collaborated with the club to design a custom Epic X Tourbillon watch.

The 44-millimeter watch made of 18-carat rose gold is limited to just 125 pieces as a tribute to 125 years of club history. According to Jacob & Co., it is the first watch to be designed with the official logo and brand elements of the Spanish giant.

“This watch is more than a collector’s item; it is a tribute to the values ​​that have made FC Barcelona great for over a century,” the company wrote on Instagram.

Barcelona’s red, blue and yellow colors run like a common thread throughout the piece, which features a blue strap, a rose gold case and a red rubber ring to protect the case.

The club crest is located on the dial next to the inscriptions “FC Barcelona” and “125 years” with “1899” and “2024” to mark the year the club was founded and the current date. Next to these details is a one-minute tourbillon in blue and garnet red. “Barca”, as the club is often called, is written on the case back.

Jacob & Co. has previously been active in the football sector and has notably helped develop tailor-made watches for Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar.

The launch of the clock coincided with Barcelona’s third game of the La Liga season, a 2-1 win over Rayo Vallecano.
