In a heated exchange that quickly developed into one of the most bizarre celebrity feuds of the year, rapper Machine Gun Kelly held no back as he responded to UFC fighter Sean Strickland’s recent comments.

Machine Gun Kelly criticizes Sean Strickland

The rapper says he didn’t know Strickland when they met

The latest chapter in Strickland’s ongoing saga of public conflict began after he unleashed a barrage of insults against Machine Gun Kelly. However, the rapper, whose real name is Colson Baker, only recently addressed the situation directly. During an appearance on the popular ImPaulsive podcast, MGK took the opportunity to respond to Strickland’s remarks and delivered a scathing rebuttal.

“The art of me standing or existing makes people angry,” MGK noted during the podcast. “I don’t even know this guy inside out. I didn’t know who he was when I met him. I later found out he’s insanely racist and homophobic and just not my type. So I would never have wanted to shake his hand.”

MGK didn’t stop there. He continued to criticize Strickland’s personality, saying that the UFC fighter represents individuals who are “too afraid to just be themselves.”

“When you are at peace with yourself, you just don’t care who others are or what they are like,” MGK added.

The rapper then tried to give Strickland some advice, but expressed doubts about whether the UFC star would listen to his words. “He’s so dumb that I’m going to tell him right now: You shouldn’t keep saying that stuff because it only makes me look better,” MGK said. “But you’re going to keep saying that stuff. So I know you’re going to react and say more, but you just shouldn’t.”

MGK gave a “big brother advice” and concluded with a pointed message to Strickland: “Shut up, stop talking about me and live your life. But you won’t. And I’m going to keep laughing at you because you’re a fucking idiot.”

Sean Strickland answers MGK

Tension first flared between the two after they crossed paths at a Power Slap event, marking the start of an unusual and very public feud. Strickland, never one to shy away from a confrontation, was quick to respond to MGK’s comments, firing back with his own scathing remarks on social media platform X.

“I’m being lectured by a guy who drinks blood and carries a purse,” Strickland wrote. “Dude, you had a midlife crisis and tattooed your whole body.”

He didn’t stop there and also took aim at MGK’s fan base and lifestyle. “Start cutting yourself again, you fucking idiot.” Strickland added in a post that only further fueled the ongoing animosity between the two.

As the exchange of blows continues online, it remains to be seen whether one of the parties will step down or whether this dispute will escalate further.
