On Election Day, polls in Green Country close at 7 p.m. Voters will decide on runoff elections, school bonds, city elections and Tulsa’s next mayor.

The race for mayor in Tulsa between Karen Keith, Monroe Nichols and Brent VanNorman is a close call, with 95% of polling stations reporting their results.

GT Bynum is retiring after eight years as mayor. Seven candidates are running to replace him, and if no one receives more than 50 percent of the vote today, the top two candidates will be put on the ballot in November.
