Wellmaker faced Adam Bramhald in the second fight of the night, and Bramhald certainly gave him a tough fight halfway through the first round. Bramhald was aggressive from the start, throwing combination punches and combining his attacks with kicks.

Bramhald’s aggressiveness, however, was to prove his undoing. The Briton staggered through his punches and was punished when Wellmaker held his position and landed a powerful right hook. He hit Bramhald over the head with the bat and sent him face first to the mat; the fight was over in one fell swoop and the live broadcast showed a speechless Dana White at ringside.

With this win, Wellmaker increases his professional record to 8-0 and likely secures a UFC contract by the end of the night.
