Everett man arrested after months-long drug investigation

A months-long drug investigation led to the arrest of an Everett man on Friday, with assistance from the Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force, Everett Police Anti-Crime Team and Snohomish County Violent Crimes Unit.

The man is said to have sold drugs for months from a motel room in the 8400 block of Evergreen Way in Everett and supplied consumers in the Casino Road and Evergreen Way areas.

The detectives managed to stop the suspect and arrest him without incident.

The man was on his way to another sale and had a stash of fentanyl on his lap when detectives stopped him. During the arrest and subsequent search of the man’s motel room, detectives seized a handgun and the proceeds from the drug sale.

The drugs seized in this case included 2.5 kilograms of fentanyl powder, 200 grams of methamphetamine, 700 fentanyl tablets (commonly known as “blues”), heroin and crack cocaine.

Following the arrest, the suspect’s vehicle was impounded pending the completion of the seizure and forfeiture process. The suspect was booked into the Snohomish County Jail and this case remains under investigation.
