Iron Circus Comics’ anthology explores the perfect crime

CBR has an exclusive first look at one of the crime stories from Iron Circus Comics’ Perfect crime partyThe anthology project contains stories about criminal activities by over 40 authors from the world of comics.




Perfect crime partyThe BackerKit campaign launched on Monday, August 26, allowing fans to pledge their support for the project ahead of its planned completion date in summer 2025. Iron Circus is offering an e-book edition as well as a physical paperback edition of Perfect Crime Party, as well as anthology bundles containing Iron Circus’ other anthologies for a wide audience. Perfect crime party offers 25 different light-hearted stories, from club-style crime thrillers to edgy pranks and teenage protests. CBR has an exclusive look at Grand Theft Octo by Kate Ashwin and Claude TC, a fun sci-fi piece in which a group of thieves set out to rob the most expensive casino in the galaxy.

The preview pages of Grand Theft Octo begin with the characters Rix, Murid and Queous travelling through space and arguing about taking on a dangerous mission. Their goal is the galaxy’s casino, which is manned by many guards, security cameras and people to make the robbery a real challenge. Iron Circus funding supports the creators of Perfect Crime Party

Those who Perfect crime party Backerkit can do this knowing that, as with all Iron Circus anthologies, any overfunding of the project’s original goal goes directly to the creators. Iron Circus uses a “creator bonus system” where every $5,000 over the funding goal Perfect crime partyoffers creators an additional $5 increase to their page price. “By supporting us directly, you’re helping the creators you love earn more,” the campaign promises. More stretch goals are planned and will be announced later in the campaign.
