Sexual abuse charges dropped against St. Augusta man

St. Cloud (WJON News) – Stearns County prosecutors have dropped charges against a St. Augusta man accused of sexually assaulting two girls.

The Stearns County District Attorney’s Office has filed charges against the 47-year-old Terry MorrisMorris was charged with six counts of first-degree sexual misconduct.

The charges were based on a reporter’s testimony that a young girl had confessed to being inappropriately touched by her mother’s boyfriend and that she had seen him do the same to her sister.

According to a court document, the prosecutor said the case was dropped in the interest of justice.
