Berks High School Girls Soccer: Monday Results

Exeter’s Holly Skipper scored the game-winning goal with nine minutes left to give the Eagles a 4-3 victory over Boyertown in high school girls soccer on Monday.

Boyertown tied the score at 3-3 five minutes into the second half.

Exeter goalkeeper Taylor Brownback parried an all-around attack from Boyertown all-conference forward Harper Glennon with 15 minutes left to keep the game tied.

Skipper scored two goals in the game and Chayse Flood and Mackenzie Mentzer each scored one for the Eagles. Each also had an assist.

Ava Leatherman, Glennon and Ariana Romans scored for the Bears.

Brownback made five saves and Boyertown goalkeeper Ciera Cameron made three saves.

Berks Catholic Church 1, Twin Valley 0

Ally Devine scored an unassisted goal to give Berks Catholic a 1-0 girls soccer win over Twin Valley on Monday.

Goalkeeper Izzy Gasperack stopped three shots from the Saints, who fired nine shots.

Twin Valley goalkeeper Lauren Williams stopped six shots; the Raiders scored seven.

Schuylkill Valley 4, Daniel Boone 2

Bailey Pekuri scored two goals to lead Schuylkill Valley to a 4-2 win over Daniel Boone in girls soccer on Monday.

Abby Ruth and Mackenzie Bachman also scored goals for Schuylkill Valley, while Elyssa Sellers added an assist.

Olivia Holloway and Mackenzie Trotz scored goals for Daniel Boone and Sofia Hogan provided an assist.

Cailyn Smith made 4 saves for Schuylkill Valley and Cameron Wadworth had 10 for Daniel Boone.

Lancaster County Christian 3, Oley Valley 1

Alicia Fisher scored two goals and Faith Urenovitch added one to lead Lancaster County Christian to a 3-1 win in girls soccer action against Oley Valley on Monday.

Erica Colantuono scored for Oley after an assist from Alyssa Withers.
