Fairy Tail 2 release date, special edition, new trailer

Koei Tecmo and Gust have just announced the release date for Fairy Tail 2. It will be available for Switch on December 11, 2024, the two sites announced today.

A special edition for Fairy Tail 2 was also introduced. Available exclusively at the NIS America Store (available Here), the Guild Box contains the base game, the visual art book “Sorcerer Magazine Special Issue: Game Release Edition Vol. 2” inspired by the “Sorcerer Magazine” from the original work, a special shikishi with a holographic finish (three types in total), and more.

Finally, alongside the release date and Guild Box special edition for Fairy Tail 2, we also have a new trailer. The video offers a first look at the heroic and fast-paced magical battles that Natsu and the team must unleash to defeat their greatest enemy, Zeref, Emperor Spriggan of the Alvarez Empire. Koei Tecmo says the battles have been revamped to reflect the exciting action during battle, as fans will be given the opportunity to make full use of the Fairy Tail guild members’ abilities to triumph over their opponents.

Fairy Tail 2 will be sold physically and digitally on Switch. As an early purchase bonus, Lucy will receive the “Miss Fairy Tail Contest” costume, which will be available for download in digital stores until December 27, 2024.
