Colonial Shooting Academy closes on September 4th

HENRICO, Va. (WWBT) – After more than 12 years, an indoor shooting range in Henrico will soon close its doors for good.

The Colonial Shooting Academy on West Broad Street will close on Wednesday, September 4th.

The owners said market volatility, inflation and other factors played a role in the decision.

“It has been a pleasure to serve the community. Our customers and staff have made this endeavor extremely fulfilling and memorable. We know that the Colonial Shooting Academy has made a positive contribution to our home state and beyond,” said General Manager Thomas Lacy.

The 5,574 square meter building will be sold and its contents auctioned in mid-October.

Customers with firearms on consignment are asked to come to the store as soon as possible before closing time to pick up their property.
