Oasis announce 14-day reunion tour for 2025, but there’s a catch

Oasis announce 14-day reunion tour for 2025, but there’s a catch

Fifteen years after their infamous split, Oasis’ Liam and Noel Gallagher have announced a 14-date reunion tour of Europe in 2025: Oasis Live ’25, but more could follow later in the year.

On August 27, 2024, Oasis announced the upcoming reunion tour, which will take place from July 4 to August 17, 2025. The first show will be at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, and the last at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.

“Oasis today end years of feverish speculation with the confirmation of a long-awaited run of shows in the UK and Ireland, forming the national leg of their Oasis Live ’25 world tour,” the announcement began. “Oasis will perform in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin in the summer of 2025. Their only shows in Europe next year will be one of the biggest live moments and most coveted tickets of the decade.”

The announcement also reveals that more dates will be announced. “Plans are underway to perform Oasis Live ’25 on other continents outside of Europe over the course of the next year,” the announcement states.

The band released a statement about the tour. “The guns are silent. The stars are aligned. The long wait is over. Come see it. It won’t be televised,” they said.

Tickets go on sale at 9am UK time on Saturday 31 August 2024. Registration for tickets is open.

Oasis 2025 reunion tour dates

Below are the 14 shows on Oasis’ upcoming 2025 reunion tour. More dates may be announced.

  • July 4-5: Principality Stadium (Cardiff, Wales)
  • 11-12, 19-20 July: Heaton Park (Manchester, England)
  • 25-26 July, 2nd-3rd August: Wembley Stadium (London: England)

  • August 16th – 17th: Croke Park (Dublin, Ireland)

Why did Oasis break up?

The Oasis reunion tour in 2025 is a surreal development for fans. They were separated for 15 years and brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher had a well-known rivalry.

After cancelling their appearance at the V Festival in August 2009, cracks began to form. A few weeks later, Oasis pulled out of the Rock en Seine festival before Noel announced he had left the band. Liam Gallagher and the remaining band members formed Beady Eye. They released two albums before splitting up in 2014.

The split of Oasis is one of the most notorious in pop culture. After years of feuding, the Gallagher brothers seem to have finally put their differences aside. It remains to be seen if this is a one-off or if the band will continue touring beyond 2025.
