Man killed in double shooting in North Philadelphia – NBC10 Philadelphia

Philadelphia police are investigating after one man was killed and another was shot in the back in a shooting in the Logan neighborhood of north Philadelphia on Monday night.

According to police, the incident occurred around 8:12 p.m. in the 4700 block of North 11th Street.

Officers responding to a reported shooting found a 41-year-old man — who police officials have not yet provided any further identifying information — who had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.

In addition, another man, whose identity police also did not release, was taken to a nearby hospital after being shot in the back, officials said.

However, as of Tuesday, around 7 a.m., the police had not yet provided any current information on the injured man’s condition.

In a statement, law enforcement officials said the incident was still under investigation and no arrests had been made.

A reward of $20,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
