GTA 6 release date coincides with PS5 Pro if you want to save

If there are two things guaranteed in this world, they are not death and taxes, but GTA VI and the PlayStation 5 Pro.

One thing is absolutely certain with a release in 2025, the other seems to be certain, even if Sony seems to be keeping us in suspense more and more.

According to industry insider Jeff Grubb, Sony plans to launch the legendary PS5 Pro model at the same time as the release of GTA VI.

I hope you have a salt shaker handy because these are just rumors and speculations. However, it is certainly possible that something like this could happen.

PlayStation has always been the target platform for Grand Theft Auto and the two games have gone hand in hand for decades.

Grubb believes the Sony console will be announced at a State of Play presentation in September.

I could imagine that Sony would want to capitalize on the console’s Christmas sales and announce the console in September with a release date in November.

This would put them ahead of the game at Christmas with a package deal for GTA VI coming next year, ready for Christmas 2025.

Xbox is reducing sales of its consoles and fans are enjoying the latest hardware update. Now the Japanese technology giant could go on the offensive.

Of course, nothing is set in stone yet and Sony hasn’t even discussed the console upgrade publicly, even though the hardware was the topic of conversation at Gamecom in Germany last week.

We’ll have to wait for Sony to take the stage late next month, but a reveal is sure to come soon, especially since so many believe this console generation is entering its final years.

Will there be a collaboration between Rockstar Games and Sony? That’s very likely.
