Future of SmackDown star uncertain, Big E with update

Future of SmackDown star uncertain, Big E with update

We’re talking about AJ Styles: We last saw the Phenomenal at the “Clash at the Castle” PLE in Scotland, where he finally lost his feud against Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in an “I Quit” match.
So far, Styles has still appeared in WWE, but only at events that were not shown on television. The 47-year-old played his last WWE match to date on August 29th against Cody Rhodes in Frankfurt.

As “Fightful Select” reports, Styles is healthy and basically ready for action, but can currently enjoy a lot of free time with his family. What’s interesting is the addition that “some influential names in the business, including some who have worked with him,” suspect that Styles’ contract will expire either at the end of this year or early next year.

Fightful Select adds that it was not possible to find out whether WWE has already tried to sign Styles to a new contract or whether the wrestling veteran even has plans to continue his career starting next year.

The latter would of course be awesome, after all, Styles has been part of the WWE squad since the beginning of 2016 and is hard to imagine without him. However, he has now reached a higher wrestling age.

There is currently a small question mark behind the name AJ Styles – and hopefully we will soon find out what the future holds for the former WWE champion.

WWE update on Big E

Suffered in March 2022 Big E An unexpected neck injury that happened during a belly-to-belly suplex. The result: He was torn from his active WWE career this morning.
There is then repeated speculation as to whether the 38-year-old’s health could allow a comeback. Especially recently – with the tensions in the New Day team between Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston – some fans have asked themselves whether Big E could play a role in the story.
But Big E will still not be able to actively participate in the near future. In an interview with Sports Talk Philly, E confirmed that he will have another scan of his neck in three to six months. Then the doctors could tell him whether his health allows him to try wrestling again.

Big E: “If the doctors say I’m fit enough to come back, I’ll sit down and talk about it first.” But I’m trying not to think too much about things that I ultimately have no control over.”

Big E seems to have basically resigned himself to the possibility of never returning to wrestling: “If it doesn’t work out, I know exactly what I’m going to do.” And I’m excited about that path in life.”

All we can say is: It’s great that Big E has maintained his positive attitude after this sudden stroke of fate.

SmackDown star got married

A few days ago there was the next wrestling wedding, which we would of course like to congratulate.

SmackDown wrestlers Kit Wilson (Sam Stoker, Tag Team: Pretty Deadly) is an NXT wrestler Stevie Turner (Lucy Bridge) married.

The newlywed couple shared some personal photo insights on Instagram. Colleagues like Grayson Waller, Fallon Henley and ring announcer Alicia Taylor congratulated.

Wilson posted the news shortly after the happy news of his tag team partner Elton Prince, who became a father for the first time over the weekend. Pretty Deadly works too… at least privately!
