CHICAGO (CBS) – A home in Lakeview was destroyed by a major fire over the weekend.

The fire broke out shortly after 6 a.m. Sunday morning in a two-and-a-half-story frame house at 1435 W. Fletcher St. The entire building went up in blazing flames that were captured on video.

According to real estate listings, the four-bedroom, four-bathroom home dates back to 1890.

The fire department raised the alarm at 2:11 a.m. and responded with 32 fire engines and almost 100 firefighters.

The fire was extinguished at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday morning. It took firefighters about three hours to put out the fire.

The house was a complete ruin after the fire.

No injuries were reported, but the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago assisted several homeless people.

Information on the cause of the fire was not yet available on Monday.
