Robert Kraft buys Brady trading card for mega sum

Another Tom Brady collector’s item is going over the counter. The buyer is no stranger: Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots.

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft opened a signed rookie trading card from NFL icon Tom Brady at a Sotheby’s auction. According to the Boston Globe, the 83-year-old paid the equivalent of around 108,000 euros for it.

The valuable item was provided by Brady personally. The quarterback legend sat next to Kraft during the event.

After all, the two knew each other well, as Brady spent a large part of his career in New England. In 20 years, he led them to nine Super Bowls – six of which the Pats won.

In total, four Brady cards found a new owner that evening. According to the report, these brought in almost 730,000 euros.
