Unique insights behind the VAT scenes

For the younger guests, we offer VAT together with Smartfeld STEM workshops and games; young people and teachers took part in the “Students Day” to gain insights into the different careers at VAT.

On September 21, 2024, VAT welcomed around 2,000 employees, family members and friends to Technology Day on its company premises in Haag in bright sunshine.

Visitors had the opportunity to visit the factories on guided tours or independently, learn more about the 14 core competencies of VAT and learn in an exciting lecture how VAT is involved in the creation process of mobile phones, laptops and other everyday digital devices.

A kind of “mini VAT” was even set up, which clearly explains the processes from development and production to the manufacture of a vacuum valve. Some of the attractions of the Technology Day were set up in the new innovation center, which will be officially opened next spring.
