Jujutsu Kaisen is nearing its end and fans know that the chapter they get this week is going to be absolutely sensational, especially because of the events covered in the last chapter. Chapter 268 of Jujutsu Kaisen is highly anticipated, even more so after the return of Nobara Kugisaki in the previous chapter.

The battle between Yuji and Sukuna is already at its peak, which means that he can be defeated at any moment, which makes the events of this series even more interesting in the future. Of course, the finale of this battle still has to be dealt with, and that is exactly what it is JJK The focus is on Chapter 268, and fans can’t wait.

Nobara and Yuji beat Sukuna and push the fight to the end

  • Nobara returned in JJK 267
  • Yuji prepares for his sure hit

Get in JJK Chapter 268, fans need to remember that the most important thing here is that Sukuna is up against two powerful damage dealers that directly affect the soul. Yuji and Nobara specialize in dealing soul damage and that is the important part here. Sukuna might have been able to withstand someone else in the fight, but Nobara’s entry into the fight essentially spells his undoing. This is because Nobara is not around and, more importantly, she can still deal direct damage to his soul. This also gives Yuji the opportunity to land his powerful attacks on the King of Curses and of course, end the fight. In JJK In Chapter 268, fans will see Yuji and Nobara join forces. Fans may remember how they joined forces to fight against Eso and Kechizu, two of the Death Paintings.

This time, they will join forces against the strongest, Ryomen Sukuna. Since Sukuna has already taken tremendous damage, the two will keep up the intensity and weaken him even further. Nobara is sure to throw stronger techniques at the King of Curses, and fans may even get to see her unleash a new technique. After all, Nobara hasn’t really evolved since she was cut from the storyline, and her return should be marked with something new, just as it has been with the likes of Todo and many others.

If that were the case, then Nobara would harm Sukuna in JJK Chapter 268 gives Yuji the opportunity to land another powerful attack, essentially ending the battle.

Sukuna coughs out her fingers and Megumi strikes

Sukuna is further weakened in JJK Chapter 267

JJK There is sure to be a big event in Chapter 268, and that is that Sukuna will cough up the fingers he swallowed. These fingers are essentially Sukuna’s way of gaining control over his shell, and when he coughs them out, Megumi will become more involved in the fight. When Yuji was previously using powerful attacks on the King of Curses, he coughed up three fingers, but immediately swallowed them back down. Sukuna then went on to say that if this continues, he will lose control of Megumi’s body and will essentially be defeated. There is no way Sukuna can afford to cough up the fingers.

However, now that Nobara has joined the fight with Yuji and direct damage is being done to his soul, Sukuna is absolutely unable to withstand the pressure. This essentially means that in JJK Chapter 268, Sukuna will spit out some fingers, and with it, his power level will drop. Depending on how many fingers he spits out, fans might even expect him to become even weaker than he was in Shibuya, meaning that it will be pretty easy to defeat him from then on.

JJK Chapter 268 essentially needs this plot point to move forward, and that’s mainly because the manga ends in the next four chapters. If Sukuna doesn’t fall in this upcoming chapter, the author will have to dedicate another chapter to his defeat, meaning the aftermath of the war won’t get enough time to focus on. Therefore, it’s crucial that Sukuna spit something out in the next chapter.

So, Megumi will also be entering the fray in the next chapter, and fans can expect him to fight a lot more. Just like Nobara will play her role, Megumi still has his to play, and essentially he will use his shadows to incapacitate Sukuna in one way or another. Of course, this will be his biggest contribution in this fight, and with it, Sukuna will be close to falling for good. All that’s left is for Yuji to deliver the final blow and end the fight for good.

Yuji lands a safe hit on Ryomen Sukuna

Yuji’s domain finally strikes and ends the fight against Sukuna

JJK Chapter 268 could potentially mark the end of the fight between Yuji and Sukuna. This fight is now incredibly close to its end and the author can easily wrap it up in the next chapter if he wants. Essentially, Nobara has now joined the fight and that leaves Sukuna on his last legs. Megumi will also be more and more involved from here on out, which essentially means the King of Curses has no way of getting out of this situation. If they both hate Yuji in the next chapter, he can launch his powerful Sure-Hit attack that fans haven’t seen yet.

This sure attack could be anything, but given the trend that has been steadily building over the past few chapters, it will likely be a powerful Soul Dismantle. If this Soul Dismantle actually hits the King of Curses, he will take tremendous damage and likely spit out the vast majority of his fingers in the process and also lose the fight.

Sukuna angry at Yuji threat Jujutsu Kaisen JJK 268

All that’s left for Yuji to do is take him down properly and end the battle in Shinjuku. Of course, it’s unfortunate that the merger probably won’t happen given how that battle went, which really seemed to fans like a plot point that needed to be addressed. JJK’s ending was certainly rushed, meaning fans will get to see this over the course of the next few chapters. Sukuna will most likely fall in JJK Chapter 268, or his fall will be set up in the next chapter. Either way, the war in Shinjuku is now close to an end, and fans can’t wait to see how Yuji does in the next chapter.

Jujutsu Kaisen is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read officially and for free by fans on Shonen Jump and the Manga Plus app. The release date for the next chapter of JJK, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 268, is set for September 1, 2024.
